鈥�THE MOUNTAIN CAT EXPRESS
The Mountain Cat Express is a service offered by Pitt-Johnstown Student Affairs to give students a safe, comfortable, alternative ride home for the three major recesses: Thanksgiving, Winter/Semester, and Spring Break. This service also provides a return ride to campus at the completion of the recess.
Pittsburgh passengers will be dropped off/picked up at the Waterfront ()听
Harrisburg听passengers will be dropped off/picked up at the听Harrisburg听Mall ()听
Philadelphia passengers will be dropped off/picked up at the King of Prussia Mall ()
Spring Break 2025听Information
Departure:
- Two buses will depart at 4:30 pm on Friday, February听28th, from the Richland High School side of . One bus will arrive in Pittsburgh. The second bus departs from Pitt Johnstown and听will stop in Harrisburg, and then again with a final destination of Philadelphia.听
- Boarding begins at 4:15听pm; we will leave promptly at 4:30听pm. Please be on time as we cannot wait for late arrivals.听
Registration Requirements:
- Only enrolled Pitt-Johnstown students who have registered听may board the bus.
- Registration closes at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 27th. Students can request to register after this deadline听by emailing Abbey Schauf at abs136@pitt.edu, but they may be placed on a waiting list if space is not available. Late registrations are not guaranteed space on the Mountain Cat Express.听
- Students must complete the required waivers when filling out听the registration.听
Cancellations:
- If you register but no longer require your seat on the bus, please contact Abbey Schauf at abs136@pitt.edu to cancel.
Important Communication:
- An instructional email will be sent on Monday, February听27th to all registered participants.
Return Schedule on Sunday, March 9th:
Return riders will arrive at the same location as their drop-off. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes early as the busses cannot wait for late arrivals.听
- Pittsburgh: Sunday, March 9th 4:00 pm departure from
- Philadelphia: Sunday, March 9th 3:00 pm departure from . (This bus will be stopping to pickup riders in Harrisburg.)
- Harrisburg: Sunday, March 9th 4:45 pm from .听
