Careers in Accounting allow a professional to assist a company to expand and to adjust to all competitive environments.听 Accounting professionals need to expand their knowledge and gain experiences in financial accounting, auditing, tax, consulting/analysis, record keeping, information technology, and computerized accounting in order to maintain or improve your status within the market place.听

In it imperative to impress upon students the need to apply your knowledge and to embrace change in order for those of us in the accounting profession to assist clients with听 their responses to financial, economic, political, and legal environments.听

When a student realizes that businesses have a constant struggle of keeping the accounting equation (Assets = Liabilities + Equity) in balance and that it is our job to assist in this process, then we as educators have accomplished our goal.
